Identification Unit

The Identification Unit is responsible for fingerprinting subjects, conducting extensive background checks and maintaining status of current ID badge holders. The airport is required by federal regulation to issue identification badges to airport employees whose job responsibilities require them to have access into secured areas of the airport. Prior to being issued identification badges, employees must pass an FBI fingerprint-based criminal history record check.
