Community Policing (COPS)

The primary mission of the Transit Authority Police Department is to ensure the safety of the traveling public within the Niagara Frontier. By working together through problem solving, and through collaborative efforts with the community, we can maintain the peace, provide safety and security for the transit community and reduce the perception of crime. To be successful in our mission requires the commitment of the administration, every member of the Transit Police Department and the transit-riding and traveling community, all working together to maintain The Transit Authority Police Department's tradition as a trusted source of help.
