Welcome to the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Police Department Web page. The NFTA Police Department consists of over 100 officers and support personnel dedicated to providing a safe and secure transit experience on the multitude of Metro bus routes, Metro Rail, and within the Buffalo Niagara International and Niagara Falls International Airports. It is our goal to maintain a proactive approach to resolving any public transportation safety issues that may arise. The NFTA Police Department is a 24-hours a day, seven days a week full service police department with transportation system enforcement responsibilities throughout Erie, Niagara, and Genesee Counties.
